I am the owner and Head Guide of Tall Man Outfitters. I'm a paramedic and volunteer firefighter with College Township Fire Department in Gambier, Ohio. I became a professional outdoor guide in 2006 and first became certified in wilderness medicine in May of that year.
December 2007 I hosted the first TMO Wilderness Medical Training course and it was a great success. In 2008 I traveled to Crested Butte, Colorado and upgraded my certification to Wilderness EMT.
I live in Gambier, Ohio with my wife Ellen and our black lab, Juno. When I'm not teaching you'll likely find me outdoors.
